Renowned multi instrumentalist, Fats Kaplin, brings his own group “The Fats Kaplin Gang” (Joe McMahan, Justin Amaral & Kristi Rose) and a multitude of instruments to The Knoblin Fest!

Fats has toured and recorded with a countless number of artists, (John Prine, Jack White, Mitski, The Manhattan Transfer, Pure Prairie League, Paul Burch, Kieran Kane & Kevin Welch and many more) But also, he composes music that straddles a wide array of genres with like-minded friends and this is what you will experience at a Fats Kaplin Gang show.

Kate Cosentino is a Nashville-based pop-rock singer-songwriter known for her sharp irony, emotional honesty, and painfully accurate observations on modern life. A witty lyricist and jazz guitarist, she blends groovy hooks with electro-pop textures, crafting songs that explore the liminal space between childhood and adulthood — from modern dating culture to the plague of monetizing everything.

Her sound sits at the intersection of Remi Wolf and Weezer, with the candid lyricism of Regina Spektor and Sara Bareilles, balanced by Bo Burnham–esque observational wit. Since appearing on Season 23 of The Voice, Kate has been featured in Billboard, NPR, and American Songwriter, opened for artists including Niall Horan and Ricky Montgomery, and toured across the U.S. She released her debut album, Weirdly Normal, in August of 2026.

GoldCoast is Rich and Jen Mahan, a husband-and-wife duo conjuring music that feels like California sun, desert dusk, and a flash of cosmic magik. Their sound is a groove-soaked mix of ‘70s blues-rock and analog soul — where roots run deep and the edges blur into something timeless.

Born under golden California skies and shaped by Nashville nights, GoldCoast is a true meeting of magic and muscle, of sun-drenched roots and moonlit mischief. Together, Rich and Jen don’t just play music—they summon it.

Hailing from Donelson, Tennessee, Solid Brass Jackie is a garage-a-billy band making rock'n roll music for stompin' your boots to. Drawing influence from artists ranging from the Stray Cats to Green Day, drummer Stephen Rollick, guitarist Nikki Lapwing, and bassist Michael Carty blend vocal harmonies and counter melodies on top of timeless roots rock rhythms.

Since forming in 2022, they've played throughout Nashville's independent venues supporting local and touring acts. Their latest cassette release titled "Knock Knock" is available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

Hailing from Nashville, Stagolee trace their origin to the musical partnership of Jimmy K and KT Robertson; a folky, Mississippi-rooted relationship that's lasted well over a decade. That collaborative spirit has now evolved into a quintet, and with it comes a new sound and desire to create something one of a kind.

Nosey Flynn brings together the heart of traditional Irish music with the energy and spontaneity of a great Irish pub session. Featuring Sean “Turk” McNamara, Josh Culley, All-Ireland Fiddle Champion Dylan Foley, and Kevin McNamara, the band delivers a lively mix of traditional Irish music, rebel songs, ballads, and crowd favorites.

McNamara and Culley have shared the stage for more than 4,000 performances, creating a musical chemistry that comes only from years of playing together. Add Foley’s world-class traditional fiddle playing and Kevin McNamara’s musicianship, and Nosey Flynn delivers an authentic Irish sound with a distinctly Nashville edge.

VOLK is Nashville die-hard rock duo and tour rats, Eleot Reich (drums, vocals) and Christopher Lowe (guitar, vocals). Since meeting in Berlin in 2013 at a brothel-turned-bar called Madame Claude’s, VOLK’s work ethic can’t be questioned. They are known for making the music they want with little regard for genre, historically landing in cowpunk territory with heavy guitars, hammering drums, and a flair for country-western. Clocking miles like it’s going out of style and recording regularly has paid off as they’ve shared bills with Electric Six, Drivin N Cryin, Supersuckers, The Dead South, Charley Crockett, and Diarrhea Planet.

Formed and honed in East Nashville, TN by lead singer Brother Love and guitarist Alex Haddad, Them Vibes shook the foundations of Music City with their electrifying live show and soulful songwriting. Inflected with the rhythmic sway of The Faces and T-Rex, the raw energy of the Rolling Stones and the Black Crowes, and the whiplash funk of Sly And The Family Stone and James Brown, Them Vibes has risen to a sonic experience all of their own.

The band has opened for household names like Cage the Elephant, Fantastic Negrito, Dumpstaphunk, Cheap Trick, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Flaming Lips.
